Even top performers will fail in a toxic environment.

The worst part?

→ We usually blame ourselves.

→ We think that we're defective.

→ We aren't working hard enough, smart enough, or long enough.

But WHY do we subject ourselves to this?

Because we often don't recognize the toxic environment we're in until it's too late.

→ We think it's normal.

→ We assume it’s just part of the job.

→ We believe that if we work harder, things will get better.

But that's not the reality.

A toxic environment can:

→ Drain your energy.

→ Destroy your confidence.

→ And suppress your creativity.

So, how do you protect yourself?

Recognize the signs. If you’re constantly stressed, unhappy, or doubting yourself, it’s a red flag.

Set boundaries. Prioritize your mental and emotional well-being by setting clear limits on your time and energy.

Seek support. Surround yourself with people who uplift and encourage you, both professionally and personally.

Take action. If the environment doesn’t change, be prepared to make a move for the sake of your health and happiness.

Remember, it’s not YOU—it’s the environment.

Don't make a culture problem a YOU problem.

.

Taking care of yourself is NOT selfish; it's essential.

.

If you want a QUICK fix? I'm not your person.

But if you're ready to put in the work to make REAL changes? Let's talk.

You are all amazing and we’re all trying our best - and that's what matters. 🌱
